Final Photo Roundup from CA

We were only in CA for a week, but crammed in so many adventures it has taken awhile to get everything up.  Meanwhile we have been having more grandparent fun.  The Gran DeCamps came for a nice visit, and then Grandma Ross followed to join in on the end of summer party.  The highlights of the GranDeCamp visit were yummy pie(s) and a trip to the zoo.  We were having so much fun we took about two pictures...hopefully they have a few more.  Grandma Ross braved the Science Center with the two cuties and we are happy to report she survived!

On to CA friend fun.  We got to see Bridger's first ever BFF Ezra.  Bridger and Ezra had a great time making cookies and running around their awesome backyard.

Larsen found a new friend in Sonia who is just 6 weeks or so older than she.  They also enjoyed some sweet times.

All four had some time together and we enjoyed a great meal followed by the boys' yummy dessert.  We so wish we were closer to have the kids play and the Moms too!

Our other big adventure out of the East Bay was to San Francisco.  We took the ferry from Jack London Square.

It was a bit windy but the kids loved being on a boat.

After arriving in SF we toured the ferry building.  We missed Matt especially on this part as he always loves to look at some fancy food!  After that we headed over to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Wharf.  We made sure to visit the sea lions and check out the view.

No trip to SF is complete without some sourdough.  We stopped at Boudin's for lunch.  The kids loved watching the bread demonstrations and I bought some turtle loaves for them because they were so darn cute!

We ended the day at Ghiradelli Square and then made our way home on the ferry.

That I think is the end of the story on our CA adventure.  Fun fall adventures will be here before we know it!!

Fun with Family in CA

Our time in California was chock full of lots of family time.  One of the highlights of our trip was celebrating Nana and Poppi's 65th Wedding Anniversary...or birthday of their wedding as Bridger would say.  We had a lovely celebration with quite a few people who wouldn't be where they are today without the two of them.  Don't worry there was lots of good food too!

Mom and daughters at the big party!

Two party animals!

We also spent lots of time at the "fun" house.  That would be at the house of Auntie Jody and clan out in San Ramon.  We saw them at MorMor and Grandy's in Castro Valley some too.  It was always lots of fun everytime we saw them.   Larsen also loved having some blonde kin around.  Bridger benefited from some professional swim teachers.  Lily the cat was probably the only one of us that didn't think it was super to have so much fun family time.

Besides the party we spent some time at Nana and Poppi's enjoying some sweet time with the best cookie maker in the United States!

Nana is also a master gardener and Bridger and Larsen were good little helpers (and yard loungers!)

One last picture from our family time.  Larsen had lots of fun one evening keep the GrandDads company!
