8 weeks miscellany

Larsen is eight weeks old today. To celebrate we have moved piglet into Size 2 diapers. We have been busy bees over here. Larsen and I had a little trip to Virginia to supervise Grandma Ross' recovery. We wish the reasons for the visit were different but it was still nice to see my parents and to cheer up my mom. After we returned it was a fun-filled and sweltering hot Memorial Day weekend. Saturday we went to Annapolis for a BBQ at Brooke and Ian's. It was great to see them and Bridger had a blast running through the sprinkler. We had one other picnic on Monday and spent the rest of the time trying to stay cool. In the meantime, Bridger is having fun teaching Larsen things. I know he cannot wait until she can really do things like walk and talk (he tells me all the time about what he and Larsen will do when she gets "bigger") but he still is very good about showing her what he can. He gave a great lesson on the use of the Giddy Up and is giving her a great preview of his future dance lessons. :) I am trying to enjoy this time with the two of them before going back to work. It is going to be hard as it is a lot of fun to spend so much time with them (though it does wear me out). We sent Bridger to school today so I could get some extra rest, and it was much needed.

Daddy doing double time...working on letters and holding Larsen.

More Giddy up lessons for L.Memorial Day fun!
Larsen lounging in VA to show Grandma the most effective relaxation poses.

Bridger's dance "lessons"...sorry for the orientation issues.
