On Friday...Race Cars! I went to race car practice for the Grand Prix with my Daddy. We didn't take any pictures though. He likes things to be simple and going to race car practice already wasn't simple, because there were lots of people and we had to bike there because parking costs lots of money and we live close anyway. The best part was when the race care driver got in his car and started it up. I liked all the flashing lights on the back. They also had a huge blow up slide at the race track that you had to climb up and slide down. I did that so many times!
Then on Saturday guess what?... we went biking. We went with our friends Meg and Nathaniel and Brooke and Ian. I rode a tow bike behind Mommy and we biked 5 + 5 miles. 10 miles! I needed a few Starburst but it was so fun and Larsen liked being behind Daddy too.
After biking we ate barbecue at a restaurant called Andy Nelsons. Then we came home and I fell asleep in the car so I didn't take a nap at home. Good thing though because we had to decorate Mommy's ice cream cake then sing her Happy Birthday and eat her ice cream cake. It was so yummy! Daddy is the best cook in the whole world!
Don't think the fun stops there. Today it was rainy in the morning so we went to the aquarium. Today was the last day for the exhibit "Wings on Water." They have Calypso the sea turtle with three fins (my favorite!!) and the zebra sharks in that exhibit. They are closing it down today to build a new spot for black tip reef sharks. Calypso and the zebra sharks will stay in a special spot in the aquarium where we can't see them and then they will go back in the new exhibit. That won't be done until I am almost five. I am a little sad I won't get to see the sea turtle anymore, but I think I will like the new sharks.
Finally, it got sunny after nap so we decided to go to the Patterson Park Pool for the last day it was open. When we got there it started to rain so we didn't get to go swimming. That wasn't so fun, but I have had so much fun in the past few days that it was ok.
