Larsen's Baptism

The weekend of Bridger's birthday we also celebrated Larsen's baptism. It was very special to have all four grandparent in town to celebrate both milestones in the lives of the DeCamp kids. Larsen was baptized on Bridger's actual birthday, and we had an open house for family and our friends at the house. It was a sweet ceremony as Larsen was baptized with another little girl, Lucy, who is just a few weeks older than her. Lucy's older brother is Bridger's age. The girls were so sweet and cute. While Pastor Paul talked about the significance of baptism the two of them chatted and smiled at each other. I am not sure anyone in the congregation was listening to the Pastor. I think they were all looking at the two cuties. As per tradition at our church after the ceremony the girls were held by the Pastor (one in each arm) and taken around the church for introductions while we sang "Jesus Loves Me." The two girls smiled the whole time and the two big brothers proudly sang the song for everyone to hear. It was a really busy weekend of celebrating, but in the end I am glad we marked such a special time for the two of them with some celebration. It seems too easy to let life's milestones march on by during these busy times, but I know we will treasure these memories!

We had a photo shoot later in the afternoon and our smiley girl kept on smiling!
For fun here is Bridger...he was 3 months older at the time.

And here is the sweet big brother now. Finally a shot of mom with one of the kids where I am not in my "grubbies"

Our family after the service (the kids were pretty hungry and tired by this point)
The whole gang now and at Bridger's baptism.
