Late Spring is here which means the annual Mother's Day Tea. This year I had two hosts for tea, and boy were they cute (even if one was still a wee bit tired!). We enjoyed lots of sweet treats and Bridger's class sang an adorable song called "You are my Mother" to the tune of "You are My Sunshine."
Spring has also brought the new adventure of T-ball. Bridger really likes it though we are still working on learning the rules and hitting the ball off the tee. It is tough because he's a lefty but doesn't seem to have a natural inclination to bat lefty or righty. He has caught a few grounders in the game. Next step is throwing the balls he catches to 1st base. He is not the only one with this problem so each "game" consists of each team going through the batting line-up while the kids go from base to base and the last kid up always gets a home run. This happens 2-4 times per team and then the "game" is over. Let's just say we are none too sad that each team only has about six kids.
Larsen has enjoyed being a T-ball spectator...though sometimes the games don't keep her captivated!
