Eleven months (an a half!)

Hi! Hi! (Picture me standing at the window waving...it is my FAVORITE thing to do and it really does sound like I am saying Hi!)

I turned 11 months a few weeks ago, but I have been so busy getting into everything and doing such adorable things that I haven't had a chance to catch you up on what I have been so busy doing.
Let's say for starters I have not been busy sleeping. Last month Mommy (or MmmMmm as I like to call her) was so excited because I was sleeping through the night. Well I had an awful stomach virus and now I don't. I really had some trouble for a long time due to the illness so Mommy let me get up and now I am teething super bad (as Bridger would say). I am leaving puddles of drool everywhere and from the looks of my gums all four of my top front teeth are going to come in at once.

Anyhoo! I still love to eat and I keep trying new foods and eating lots and lots. I sometimes eat more than Bridger. Mommy and Daddy are enjoying this honeymoon eating period as they know the pickies will come, but for now I just eat as I please, and don't worry I know when you are eating something especially yummy like a cookie and I YELL until you give me a bite. You have to share you know...especially since I am so cute!

I am totally so cute because I have all kinds of things I do now.

I love my baby doll and give her hugs. I even like to take her on walks in the Bob (speaking of the Bob I am not the biggest fan but my baby doll makes it better!)
If you take me on a walk to the swings or the slide I am sooo happy. I love to slide, but I am getting more into swinging now. At one of the parks near our house they have a little slide that I can go do sitting up by myself and I really like that still. Sliding down on your belly is so two weeks ago!

I love to blow kisses and make kissing noises. One night when Mommy was super tired I made all kinds of kissing noises and patted her on the back when she picked me up. While she really would rather me just be sleeping, it did make her forget for just a second that it was the middle of the night and we all should be sleeping.
Oh I almost forgot that I give kisses if you ask me to (to you, to baby dolls, to books...everything deserves a kiss no??)
I love waving and wave hello and good bye a lot.
I also love music. I went to music class for the past two months with my brother and loved the shakers and the sticks and I knew to shake or tap my sticks to the music. I clap when music comes on and if I am standing up I "dance". I also dance if you say "dance, dance" when I am standing up.

I also love climbing the stairs. I can go up pretty fast, and always go for them when Mommy and Daddy are trying to do something else. I know I am not supposed to because when I get there I shake my head no and then do it anyway of course.

I also love to show you things...you may think I am sharing it with you but I just want to show you whatever thing I have that I am likely going to put in my mouth even though most of the time it is not edible.
I am not walking yet but doing some standing. I think I will be walking soon because I am starting to get frustrated outside when I can't do some of the things the other kids are doing because I can't walk. We'll see about that though.

Right now everyone is working on my birthday party coming up in just a few weeks...I am so excited to have some cake all to myself and to see all my grandparents. I am sure Bridger will do a great job teaching me how to be the birthday girl. He loves birthdays...I mean he and I went to a dinosaur party and look at him...he totally is rockin' all the goody bag gear.

Kisses!

Daddy and I like the pow!

The girls!
Daddy finds a little pow stash
Are you ready to hear about our ski trip?!?
Ski pictures to come, but you have to fuel up before you ski and we loved the Red Iguana for some pre-ski eats!

We went skiing a few weeks ago and it was super fun. We have been busy being sick and other unfun stuff so I haven't had a chance to tell you all about it.

We went to Park City, which is where my Auntie Noodle and Uncle Jake live. They love the mountains and get to ski all the time. I decided I would rather live in Park City than Baltimore, because it is so much more fun to go to ski school than to regular school. That is right I went to SKI SCHOOL! Park City Mountain Resort has a special ski school for kids that are 3 like me. The first day I skied with an Edgie Wedgie (not for your underwear...silly!), but then by the second day I didn't need that and was riding the chair lift and skiing Turtle Trail.

Riding the magic carpet in the beginner area

Apres ski when you are three!
I skied at ski school for three days and skied a little in the afternoon after school with Mommy and Daddy. The last day I went to Deer Valley with Mommy and Daddy and skied Duck Trail five times! It was so fun. I was at the top of the mountain. I really liked that if I did a good job skiing I got a "power boost", which means I got a jelly bean. There aren't any "power boosts" at regular school-another reason to go skiing every day. Mommy and Daddy decided I needed "power boosts" after I had a hard time getting down the whole Duck Trail the first time. I was having a crisis about it, but then Daddy told me all about aspen trees and I felt a little better and decided to do Duck Trail again. When I did it again I discovered that I could do it, even though I thought I couldn't and that "power boosts" make everything better. Many people skiing on the mountain thought I was super cute and was doing a super good job.

Oh I forgot, Mommy and Daddy skied too! Daddy took Mommy on a hike and wanted her to ski somewhere she could have fallen off a cliff. He got a time out for that and then they went down another way, which was safer. She had lots of fun though. Mommy, Daddy, Auntie Noodle, and Uncle Jake all skied together one day and they "got the pow" and enjoyed some time in the trees.

Don't forget that Larsen was there too and she had fun in the snow.

Also Grandma Ross was there and she had her 60th birthday while we were there. I mean can you think of anything better....skiing, power boosts, new toys at our condo, lots of family attention, Happy Birthday singing, and cake. Life could not be better than that!

Eating breakfast out at No Worries Cafe-They have the best (?only) moose pancakes!

I can't wait to go on another ski vacation!!
