Double Digits

I have entered the world of double digit...months that is!

Last Monday I turned ten months old. I am having fun getting into everything! I love to get into exactly what my brother is playing with, and everything else I am not supposed to. Let me out of your sight for a second and I am going up the stairs or playing with a 'lectrical cord (Bridger is very good to watch out for me and always let's Mommy and Daddy know when I am doing something I am not supposed to do.)

The big news around here is that we are going on a ski vacation. We are going on this vacation just in time for me to get all turned around and stop sleeping through the night. Yup! About a week and a half ago I started sleeping through the night. I have a little trouble a few times during the night and I cry out, but I put myself back to sleep. I am usually staarrrvvving by about 5:30am so I am up earlier than I used to be. Today though I slept all the way until 6:30am. Mommy is so grateful that I am sleeping through and really hopes it won't be ruined by the ski trip (She might love skiing but whose doesn't really love sleeping all night!).

Otherwise I am still as cheeky and cute as can be. I am cruising everywhere and I am getting braver about letting go and standing for a second or two. I don't seem that interested in walking so even though I pulled up early Mommy thinks I might wait quite a bit until I start walking. Otherwise I am starting to understand more and more language things. I sign "all done"...it looks like I am clapping but I understand what it is for. I do say "mmmammma" sometimes when I am tired or hungry and I see Mama. Mommy thinks she hears Dada sometimes. It also seems like I am really trying to say "quack quack" when I see ducks. I wave sometimes and I also blow kisses, but only to Daddy.

Other than that I am sick again and probably will get another ear infection says Mommy. We stayed in and got ready for our vacation this weekend except today we took Bridger to the ice rink and he ice skated for the first time with Mommy. I had lots of fun watching them skate and Bridger did pretty well. He didn't like getting ice on his jeans (that is why you wear snow pants...Mommy messed up and didn't have him wear those) and he really liked the pretzel treat afterwards but still he did get so much better in the few laps he did out there. I bet he is going to be a super good skier! Talk to you next month when I will be so close to one I just might have to get up and walk there. You never know!
