20 Pictures for 20 Months

It's "Larse turn" to share on the blog with you.  I turned 20 months on St. Nicholas Day.  I really love my "Tistis tee" and "Baby Shesus."  It has been a busy month since we started the whole holiday season.   Here is a recap in twenty pictures in honor of me turning 20 months!

We had a lot of fun over Thanksgiving.  I love "turteys"...they say "dobble dobble"!  We spent the long weekend in Virginia visiting "DaMa" and "DadDad."  On the first day we went to Colonial Williamsburg and spent time in the stockades.  I promise I was a good girl. (Though sometimes I steal Bridger's toys and he tries to put me in time out and then I tell him "Sorry!")

The day after Thanksgiving we got some exercise to work off all that yummy food and went for a hike.  We went to York River State park and had a fun time at Fossil Beach.  I liked to find the "shells" and didn't want to go, but I decided I was ok with it once we stopped for a snack and I got to eat my "bar."

This is my whole family on the walk. I wanted to "walk walk outside" the whole time, but I did get a little tired and I went in the "Daddy Backpack."  I didn't really like it and wanted "OUT" but I made it and then we went to the playground where there was a "slide" and "swing" so I wasn't so mad at Daddy.
The last thing we did in Williamsburg was to go ice skating.  I didn't get to go and I was very mad, but "Bidge" did and he had fun on the fake ice.  I kept DaMa and Daddy company.

Bidge and I are really silly kids.  I love to wear anybody's underwear (Mommy makes sure it is clean.)  Bidge and I got dressed up in underwear over our clothes and had lots of fun one morning.
Mommy got Bidge and I a tistis tee for our room, and we love it.  We bought the tee at the same place where we got things for my hair to make "piggy ta."  I am still not sure I like them but they are fun.

Whoops how did this picture of Daddy and the kids watching Santa ski videos sneak in??
Here are Mommy and Larse watching for "SanSa Claus" to come in by tug boat.
After seeing SanSa we went and got our Tistis tee.  I supervised to make sure Daddy and Bidge did a good job getting it in the house.  Bidge was in a CRAZY outfit for decorating the next day.  It was a warm day outside, but I don't know why he was wearing a bathing suit, soccer shirt, and Sansa hat.

Did I mention that it is essential to wear your "buu tutu" when digging for dinosaur bones??
Last bits of Baltimore Christmas magic, before I go.  Bidge talked to SanSa on the corner in Highlandtown (not recommended for the faint of heart), and I got my first glimpse of the Highlandtown Train Garden.

May your days be Merry and Bright this Advent Season and we'll be back soon!

What is going on over here?!

It is November and it has starting snowing at Park City.  I already told Mommy and Daddy that I am ready to go to my ski school again.  They said we can go in Winter but right now it is Fall and we have been keeping busy.  That doesn't mean that Larsen, Daddy, and I don't try to watch lots of ski videos at breakfast when Mommy isn't looking.  My Mommy and Daddy always have a busy work schedule in October and November but when they are not working we are always doing something fun.
Larsen and me like to be silly at our house all the time. We are sharing a room again at night.  Larsen used to sleep in the basement, well when she was really little was in my room, but then she was waking me up so she went to the basement but now we are trying again.  She likes to go night-night with me but she sometimes wakes me up in the morning.  She can go back to sleep and likes to sleep the day away.  I am never tired so I don't go back to sleep.  I just wait till six and go get Daddy.  I love to play with him in the morning.  We had fun showing the doctor how silly we were because we went to the doctor for check-ups together.  I weighed 35pounds and I am 39.5 inches tall.  That is super big.  Larsen is growing too.  She weighed 26pounds and is 31 inches tall.  We are both just right for our age and both do everything we should be doing really well.  I wrote my name for the doctor, and she said I wrote it as well as a six year old.  I like to write, I even like writing numbers and can write all the numbers to 100.
We had lots of fun celebrating Halloween in October.  They had a festival at the Harbor near the Science Center and we went and I got my face painted and rode a horse.  We had to take the bus home from there since Daddy was working.  It was so fun.  Larsen likes buses too.  I am sad that I don't get to take the bus anymore.  We use to take the #10 bus to school all the time, but not since last Fall when I moved to my new school.

Here is Larsen and me starting to wear our costumes.  We went to a birthday party and there were a lot of kids in Batkid costumes.  That was so cool!  My Batman costume was the best though since Grandma DeCamp made it.  She made Larsen's too.  Larsen liked her costume too.  She can say tutu.  She calls her tutu the Bat tutu.  It is really funny.  She says lots and lots of words now.
Before Halloween we had an extra couple days at home with Mommy because of a big storm called Sandy (Just like my teacher Sandy...it is so funny they have the same name.)  Sandy wasn't a funny storm though she ruined lots of things in New Jersey and New York.  At my school we sold cupcakes to send money to people who had lost their houses.  Our house was safe though.  The roof leaked in my and Larsen's room, but we were fine except for that.  When Sandy was here though we couldn't go outside so we did lots of crafts and had lots of fun with Mommy.  Larsen really liked to make a puffball tree.  (She can say puffball too!)
One of the days Sandy was here we decorated our Jack-o-lantern.  Last year I didn't like to touch the goopy stuff inside, but this year I didn't mind.  I had a lot of fun helping Daddy.  Larsen helped a little too, but I was the best helper.
On Halloween at my school we have International Day.  Larsen and Mommy came.  I dressed up as Scotland.  When it was my turn I said my name and my country really well so everyone could hear.  I am usually very shy and don't like to talk in front of crowds, but I did a super good job with that.  During International Day we watched Irish Dancers and then we had snacks from around the world.  Larsen stayed for that.  We both thought it was very yummy.  She likes treats.  She always asks for more treats even though you don't ever get more treats.  Silly Larsen.
Finally it was time to trick or treat.  I went trick or treating with Larsen and Avery.  Mommy, Daddy, Avery's mom, Grandma Ross, and Aunt Mary Ann came too.  I got lots of candy.  I am still working on eating it.  Larsen could say trick or treat when practiced but she didn't do it when we went to people's doors.

That is pretty much everything big  in the past few weeks but we did lots of little things too.  When Aunt Mary Ann was here we went to the Aquarium.  I was a great tour guide.  They are building a new part to the Aquarium and a lot of it is not like it usually is.  I was sad because the turtle Calypso is not out like she used to be, but they did put out a TV so you could see her in our other tank.  I am very relieved to know she is doing so well.  Also I had my last soccer game of the season yesterday.  I had lots of fun and even scored a few goals.  The best part though is I really like my new friend Caleb that is on my soccer team.  He is going to come to my house soon even though there isn't soccer so we can keep having fun playing together.

The Birthday Party!

Bridger had his birthday party two weekends ago, but it was such an event I haven't been able to recover until now.  We had both sets of grandparents in town and then Mr. B had a joint birthday party with Sophia M. from his class.  We went with a fall theme and tried to incorporate some classic games.  It was TOTAL CHAOS with lots of kids and parents, but in the end it seemed like everyone had a great time.

Potato Sack races were a big hit!!

Egg on a spoon was a little tricky but was good for a few laughs!

The balloon popping with a starburst treat inside was a lot of fun for all.  Who doesn't love balloons??

Inside we decorated pumpkins (nobody seemed to catch a photo of that), ate some snacks, and then Bridger enjoyed his Batman cake.

The next morning we did some gifts and had some family time.  If we look a little tired...it is because we are.  Even though it was quite a lot we loved celebrating Bridger!!
